New Boxster S owner

2001 Boxster S, Seal Grey w/Black interior, 6 speed, 71k
Lots of questions to follow - Previously owned a Z3, Z4, CORVETTE AND H3. This car is a blast so far - and Im ready to learn all about the pros & cons of ownership! I am an accessory whore - never leave anything stock - so looking for ways to personalize it as well...

Welcome new Boxster owner. I have had over the years 3 Healys, 1 MGA, 2 Corvettes, 1 Alfa, 1 Fiat and a crap load of daily drivers. The Boxster is the most fun and best handling sports car every. Of course I had a blast in my Bugeyed Sprite. Enjoy it.

You will love every moment of this car as long as you maintain it and drive it like you should. I still have my H3 and have had several types of cars (too many to name) but of all the cars I have had this one is much more fun to drive. Before this car I had a 97 M3 that was a one owner car and it was perfect but couldnt compare to the handling of the Box. That M3 was quick, but I am not after a quick car, I wanted something FUN to drive and the Box is perfect for that. Heck, my Boxster is way fast compared to the H3...

We're twins!

How funny... I now have a 2000 S. Before as a "third-toy" car I've owned a Z3, a Corvette, a '03 Z4 and then my Boxster. In that order!

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Forum and to Boxster S ownership! You have come to the right place - both for general information, and to satisfy your mods obsession - though in my experience, this car has called for fewer mechanical 'improvements' than just about any other vehicle I've owned ...

If you haven't already, head over to Pedro's Garage for good tips/how tos and some goodies. Although I can't agree with his liberal use of carbon fiber, I have some of his goodies (techno torque) high on my to do list. He stands by his products and has a high mileage box.

Good choice on the Seal Gray.
