but the best thing to use is actually a toothbrush for children.
or use a polish that does not leave any white powder like black ice.. use black ice and it shines very nice and does not leave any power its kinda like babyoil.

but if you have your own fav polish then toothbrush is the one to clean the badge.
to get rid of the white stuff, brush and blow.
However on my boxster I have nothing I removed the boxster logo a few years after I had, I bought it about 6 or 7 years ago and it wasnt long after that.
