my front strut mount ( passenger side ) went out last year and i had to get it replaced. it sounded like a squeaking - metal on metal - mostly when i'd hit a bump in the road or go over a speed hump.

i chose to take it to an independent porsche garage since i don't have the tools or the confidence to do it myself.
