my1999boxster Registered User Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Chicago, IL Posts: 14	CAM problem My check engine light has come on three times over the last few months each time reporting a code relating to the CAMs - I'm not overly technical so don't know the specifics. Is this a common problem on 1999 Boxsters? I'm quoted around $1600 for a new CAM + oil change + labor. Just wondering if others have had issues with their CAM.
