Seat Belt Warning Delete
I am installing aftermarket seats and 5 point harnesses in my 03 Boxster S and want to override the seat belt warning light and alarm.
Should I clip the wires at the female seat belt receptacle or is there a more elegant solution?

WELCOME!
I'm no help, but if for street car you might want to check local laws.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but if you remove the light bulb from the instrument cluster, you don't have to worry about the light. It's a simple DIY.

If you clip the wires in the seat you'll throw an airbag light. Viper's idea is the best yet.
Of course, black electrical tape over the front of the cluster in the glowing area is also another option if you're too lazy to take the cluster out

It's really pretty simple. If you think about it, it'll come to you.
I'm not going to publish how to defeat the seatbelt warning system openly on the internet... don't want any widows' lawyers after me!
Cheers!
