To fast & danger, when you get pulled over do you feel the plates negate some of your pleading leverage?

Well I can't speak for Danger, but personally, I think if you happen to be pulled over by a jerk cop who just wants to ticket a guy in a Porsche, it don't matter if you have a personal plate or not. I've been pulled over by nice cops too, who even just let me off on a warning because I was courteous in demeanor when pulled over. It just depends what kinda cop you run into.

I just choose to have a personal plate because I don't want some state agency dictating what letters and numbers to put on my car.

Color Bias

One day on the interstate I was doing just over the legal when a red corvette went flying by with the license place "OH SO RED". Right behind him was a white car with an oh so red light on top. They must have been friends because a little ways up the road they were over on the shoulder having a chat.

If there are specialty plates available, you may be able to use the specialty-suffix to make an interesting plate... Route 66 plates in Illinois make for some fun phrases that might not otherwise be available:
