There are literally a million mesh style wheels out there that will fit a boxster. However, what type of quality and precision is associated with them is anyone's guess ? There is one wheel that comes to mind that I think is worth checking out. Its the Work Brombacher edition mesh wheel. The fitment is specifically designed for Porsche, and its available in a number of different sizes, offsets and finishes. Work is a Japanese company that is known for their high quality products.

You get what you pay for

and you want strong, light weight and good looking in a size that fits. The cheap ones aren't so strong and aren't so light weight.

If all you are looking for is looks, that can be had for much cheaper. Just visit Ebay.

So you gotta figure out what level of quality you are willing to pay for...just like when you bought your car.

I found a few less exspensive ( axis penta ) wheels but they only seem to come in 19" for the Box. I am not a big fan of 19s on the 986 . does anyone know a decent mesh wheel for the box. in 18"

I know of an 18 inch 10 spoke wheel that is available. Its a very clean looking one piece forged design - very light and reasonably priced at 2k for a set.

Is this what you mean by mesh?

It's the Victor LeMans. Not the lightest, but not a bad finish quality, and relatively inexpensive. Discount Tire Direct, wheeldynamics.net (and others) sell them. Not a bad looking street wheel...

How about these?... They're not really mesh style, but are good quality wheels that can be ordered in grey or black, etc, and are priced reasonably at Tirerack.

Check out the pics on the last page of posts on the thread. They have Boxster fitments too.
