vibrations in shifter

Hi,

I recently noticed the following problem:
The first 3 minutes (or so) after a cold start I feel strong vibrations in the shifter when I have my foot on the gas. after 3 minutes these vibrations are gone.

2002 Box S, Manual shift
74,000 miles
clutch is about 40k miles old
engine and motor mounts are approx 20k miles old

could this be a sign of the clutch giving up?
