angle eyes headlights

I know I saw a picture or write up of someone taking the headlights apart and installing BMW or Merc projector headlights. looked a little like the angle eyes on new BMWs.

Does anyone recall this? I have extra headlights that i want to experiment on.

James

you mean lights which go in an angle (a.k.a. "cornering lights") or "Angel Eyes"?

I think he's looking for something like this but for the Boxster.

I've never seen this for a Porsche though, more of a BMW thing.

not really aiming for the ring effect more to the fact that someone took a hologen headlight, stripped the insides and put high power projector lenses into the housing. If I remember, I was done at a nominal cost when compared to factory litronics.
