Exclamation Tubes and seals

Need help.just told I need new seals and tubes is it hard to do your self.they gave me a est of 740$.is this good or bad.

is this fo your boxster? you may only need o-rings if you are talking about your plugs. The o-rings shouldn't be more than $30 and i am sure your tubes are fine.

It's for a 2001 Boxster.I was told I need tubes seals spark plugs.one side is leaking and the other side is starting to.85$ an hour labor

If you have even a modicum of mechanical capability, you can re-ring all the plug tubes your self and pop in some new plugs while you are at it for less than a c note........

I concur with the others... this is not hard to do if you're mechanically inclined. I changed my plugs and it took an hour and a half because I really took my time and the tubes and rings in the tubes are easily removed and right there.

Do you have to remove the valve covers to do the job and how do you place the o ring in the hole correctly.I was told 8 hours labor
