Crash Socal Bimmerfest 2005?

I hear thousands of the BMWs will be caravaning from Balboa Park in Encino, Calif. up the 101 to Santa Barbara and something called "Bimmerfest 2005" on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m.
Wonder if these brats need an escort.

I live near the 101 in this stretch of road. My question is, how will you tell the Bimmerfest from any other day on the 101?

BTW-I like BMWs and I sell them. Having said that, they are terribly over sold here in SOCAL!

Oh I agree, same thing with Mercedes. That's one of the things I like about driving a Porsche. In So Cal where BMW and Mercedes are so commonplace a Porsche can still turn heads.

Indeed! I just returned from a local blast-around with my new-in-stock Carrera Cab. I did get tons of looks and am pretty clear it was not at me but the car.

Good stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
