Been meaning to post this for a while now. Maybe others have figured this out also, but just FYI the hole size/spacing for the boxster rear trunk latch attachment is exactly the same as for the small kiddie auto fire extinguishers mounting bracket. This makes mounting a fire extinguisher in the trunk as simple unscrewing/screwing two screws. I got my silver one at Walmart and it fits perfectly.
