problems after 45K service

I turned in my car for the 45K check up and I was told that I needed my water pump replaced, Axle boots for the CV joints replaced, the self closing mechanism for right window needed to be replaced, and oil fill tube leaks fixed.

The water pump seems correct as I heard some thumping noises and I shut down the car immediately. Sent it to dealer right away.

I now also have problems with my alternator. Are all these issues typical for a 2003 Boxster S?

I live in Jacksonville, FL, and does anybody know of a good Porsche mechanic?

Your input and advice would be appreciated.

The rubber drive axle boots are a known weak spot on the S models - I had to replace mine last year with only 35,000 miles on them - I was lucky I had the Porsche used car warranty, otherwise it would have cost me heaps......
