Warning: Buying such shoes might help perpetuate certain stereotypical images of Boxster owners (that that there is anything wrong with that).

Thanks for the "heads up"...I ordered a pair of the Prova shoes, which is a different style from the ones I currently own.

Also, I found a coupon online that will save you $5 at checkout...just enter code SG1039 and it's automatically applied (helps defray some shipping costs).

Cool!!
Have a pair of Prototipos coming!
They didn't have Provos in my bearpaw size. Oh well, any pilotis for 34 bucks with shipping is a deal.

Bought a pair for myself and my dad from that site. Fast shipping and great shoes.

Update...I ordered my shoes Monday; paid for standard shipping and the shoes arrived Wednesday! These are A class condition; I was expecting seconds for the price.

these guys have Piloti's on sale several times a year. I like the Piloti Spyder Touring Shoes, initially bought my first pair because they were on sale cheap like this. Turns out I really like them and I usually wear them every day, including when I autocross.

I must exercise restraint though, I have purchased six pairs of Piloti in the last year, my shoe collection is beginning to rival my wife's

Ekam,
Peter Gregg and Hurley Haywood put many a IMSA Championship under their belts, including a couple of Daytona 24 Hours, wearing penny loafers for driving shoes!
I will admit they were VERY expensive penny loafers, but penny loafers they were.

kabel,
Nothing wrong with rivaling your wife's collection, as long as the shoes have a great purpose, like driving! There's something about driving shoes. I used an old favorite pair of Westovers so long past when I should have retired them, they actually caused me to crash! They are now in a square of my living room wall shelves with my favorite helmet and gloves, in front of a mounted newspaper article from the Gainsville, Ga. paper, when I won the first ARRC at Road Atlanta.

Found the video.

It wasn't an Italian guy in a Ferrari, but the legendary Ayrton Senna in a NSX.

That's some brilliant driving, with a god damn pair of loafers.
