dirty to clean wheels.

So it rained lately around here and i got caught in it! so my wheels were all gummed up. So I did a nice deep clean and just wanted to post some before and after pics. I actually went and took the whole wheel off just to make it even more thorough.

and now the AFTER pics.

phew...

Nice, most people don't clean the inside of the wheel.

May I suggest you use this to clean the wheel nut area.

The OCD part of me also wants to tell you that the center caps should point to the valve stem.

^ That's pretty smart.

p.s.
Those spoked wheels lend themselves to waxing to cut down on dust.
I don't mess with Wheel Wax brand because I found it to be a little to hard to remove. I use any old acrylic (synthetic--as in not carnauba) wax, eitehr liquid or paste. Particularly the inside of the wheel. Then I use my go to antistatic spray (Finish Kare 425 from www.autogeek.net). After about a week the brake dust rolls right off with a simple Optimum No Rinse bucket mix and a soft wheel face brush. All four come clean in about five minutes.
