Window question

the issue I'm having is only with the passager window, when you open the door from the outside, the window is suppose to come down about an inch or so, so when you shut the door it goes back up into place tight. (01 Boxster S)

the driver door works fine, the passager door does not move, I can push the window down an inch, then shut door and it goes up.

Should I run my window all the way down and hold switch for 10 seconds and then run all the way up and hold swith for 10 seconds for it to reset? or is there something going out?

thanks for any help!

Probably time for a new window regulator.

well the window works fine for everything else. why spend $250-$500 now just to fix the drop inch deal just when opening the door. thought there would be an easy fix for this or reset.

I just push it down myself or let the window down a little when someone gets in.
thanks...

It's like a toothache, sooner or later it will get worse.
