if i remember correctly (which i do)

for this:

new clutch, IMS retrofit, RMS update, upgraded lifters, new vario cam timing chains and tensioner pads also.

was about (or exactly) 6,000 dollars

and that would put to sleep many a nightmare. (this was for 60K service and some of jake's innovative upgrades as you can tell from the list)

and when i bought my box a couple months ago the going rate for an extended warranty was just shy of 7 grand... so coreseller is right on.
