Opinion on this Color Combo

I split the back window on a cold day earlier this yeaar and I have been planning to get a new top. Since I live relatively close to GAHH I am going to have them supply and install a new top with a glass window. I have a 97 Arena red boxster and I remembered the old GAHH website showing a similiar car with a reddish top. Jack at GAHH supplied this photo with a Bourdeaux colored top.

Any thoughts or opinions on this color combination? I would sure hate to make a mistake here....

Jack mentioned that he thought the color in the picture was off. He used to have a picture on his website showing this color and it wasn't so cherry in color. He is sending a sample and I'll post a photo of the sample when I get it.

someone here has an arena red w/ a very close matching color top. Can't remember who but unfortunately I think I remember that person got keyed pretty badly

Might search on got keyed or other variants to see if you can find.

The color in that picture looks off if it's the same top this other person had.

Good luck

go with it

the color of the top matches the various red lenses of the exterior lighting. eye catching.

Who cares what we think? Some of us will like it and some not. Just make sure you know exactly what the colour is and if you like it, go for it!

I don't like red cars, but I think it looks kinda cool, classy. It doesn't look any more garish than alot of the GT3 color treatments. Looks way better than grey on a red car and everyone has a black top. Dare to be different. If you like it, get it.

I think it looks very cool, that red IMO is nicer than it looks in Guards Red.

I like the combination and imagine it would look far nicer in person, than the picture is doing justice. I recall seeing a 356 in a similar color combination and thought it was rather striking.

If it's a darker red in person, I like it. Derb has a car in your color, which is beautiful in my opinion. It's one of my favorites.

Hopefully, the top won't be up much and it won't matter

GAHH Sample photo is in.....

The sample from GAHH came in and I took a few photos. My wife is voting against it, it's too red for her taste. She thinks it clashes too much and it should be much darker and closer to the car color if I go that route.

I really want to go with something other than black, but at roughly $1,500 I want to be sure it's not too crazy. That's an expensive mistake. Anyone think Space Grey color would look good with the Arena Red? It's much more subtle.
