How to fix the grill fins

Hi My pass side front grill fill came out, how does it attach? I'm thinking some sort of clip maybe? If anyone has a parts diagram or info that would be great.
it's a 2004 Box S

the are 4-6 locking slot tabs on the bumper cover that lock into slots on the black grill pieces. 2 on the top, two on the bottom and one on each side IIRC. You can try to pull the grill forward to re-lock into those tabs into place. Otherwise the best way to make sure they are reattached is to pull the front bumper cover (~ 25 min ) and reattached from back side. You may be required to do this none the less as one or more of the tabs could have been torn off when it was pushed in. If so, just reattach the grills using a hot glue gun. Do a search on radiator cleaning and you'll find plenty of DIYs for bumper cover removal.

Tough to tell from this pic (it's all I have) but if you zoom in on the lower left, you'll see the receiver tabs on the grill pieces and can partially see a male tab from the bumper cover....

Good Luck

CORRECTING MYSELF BASED ON YOUR MY - the above is only for '97-02 IIRC! '03-04s have the fins molded into the bumper skin, correct? In that case, I don't think there is much you can do other than try and epoxy them back in yourself (or have a body shop do it which would require repaint) or replace the bumper skin. Post a picture of how they look and we can give you some more suggestions....

you could also replace them with a mesh grille (example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9-x48-PREMIUM-MESH-CAR-SHOW-GRILLE-GRILL-KIT-UNIVERSAL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c0d4df1f1QQi temZ120482296305QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ 5fAccessories) and kill two birds with one stone (no more debris in your radiators)

fixing the grills

it has slots for the fins to go in, I m thinking it's some sort of clip that holds it in.
