I have with the Alpine IVA-D300 DVD deck with my ipod hooked into it. It is running deck power for now into the stock 6 speakers. Sounds a lot better than stock, but far from what I really want it to sound like.

I installed the Porsche Option rear speakers. Nice addition indeed.

hey LB350,
unless you want dvd and nav, i would stay with the stock and just add an amp, new speakers, and a small woofer box in the front hood. (gonna have a tube connected into the passenger side, hidden, so i get some bass) thats what i am going to do. i also have a cayenne, i put gps, dvd, new deck (all alpine) and a optional screen in the rear view mirror. it comes in real handy. work on my cayenne cost me 3800.00 ouch!! but at the dealer, they were going to charge me over 7000.00 for what i wanted.

on my boxster, it is going to cost me about 1200.00.

my friend did it for me, hes a freelance audio guy. does a good job.

do you have xenons? gotta get'em, its so worth it. post some pics of your car.

Question What's the difference between a CDR22 and CDR 220?

From what I have read, if you don't have MOST technology already in the car, connecting a CDR 23 is not possible. However it appears that the CDR 22 is almost the same unit.

I've got an old CDR21 in mine that is doing strange things (speakers switch on and off at random - mainly on the left side), so I am keen to do an upgrade.

Here's my question:
What is the difference between a CDR 22 and CDR 220?

From what I've seen the CDR 220 is the US version and CDR 22 is "Rest of World", but if I bought a CDR220 and put it into my Australian Boxster, would there be any issues with the radio or voltage?

Smile Boxster Bass

From what I've read over the Internet, somebody could mass produce Boxster 8 inch subwoofer enclosures with subwoofer, for placement behind one of the seats, that would take advantage of the indention in carpeted firewall for magnet depth....then retire shortly thereafter. Anyone know of any available?
