Passenger Window not going under convertible top?

80% of the time when someone gets of out the passenger seat the window doesn't go up or down under the convertible automatically like the drivers side does and it sounds bad! I have to put it down and up manually. Anyone know the cause of this?!

you might have a faulty door latch sensor or loose connection

All the micro switches are located within the door itself, youll need a cross screwdriver, flat screw driver, 1 allen key for the allen bolt behind the plastic airbag cap, 1 torq screw driver for the 2 torq bolts on the armrest

Lewis:

If it behaves the same way whether you pull on the inner door handle or on the outer door handle, it's most likely NOT any one of the three microswitches. I would first suspect the window regulator itself (and very, very rarely the window motor).

Straightforward DIY, with the hardest part being the removal of the door panel. After you have removed the door panel a couple of times, it's a piece of cake.

Regards, Maurice.
