Hope to see you back some day and enjoy the 3, i've heard it's the most fun to drive hatch out there.

As for the fire, not sure how often that happens but for what it's worth, the trunk does get quite warm at times. It makes sense, it's sitting above the transmission, exhaust and right next to the engine!

Let this be a lesson to all of us.

If your IMS bearing goes and your engine is toast, just make sure the car matches.
