Crappy Running Engine after gas fill

When driving home I had to stop for gas. It seems that every time I fill up the runs crappy for a while. I checked the oil filler cap and there was a good pressure when the cap came off. The fuel cap was on tight. What is going on?

By the way this was when I was driving home from the shop after having the clutch replaced on my 97 boxster.

Suggestion would be to always use Tier 1 Gas.

As for now, run some Chevron FI cleaner through the car with next fill up.

And, I would replace the gas cap. They can go bad and give you issues, including a CEL.

Try that and check back in with us.

Good luck.
