What sort of hat do you wear?

What kind(s) of hat do you wear to:

1) keep warm during the winter with top down
2) maximum protection from the sun during the summer

I see people with baseball caps, but I think they provide very little protection in either case.

I wear a ball-cap. Not crash-rated so i don't rely on it to give me protection

Porsche BB cap, white or black depending on how hot it is.

Im not so much of a hat fan but I do have a custom made black beenie that has "Boxster" across it.I dont find myself wearing hats too often because of how people in my age group wear them...backwards with the tags and stickers still on them....yes I know

I wear a ball cap. I always wear one with a logo of the car I am NOT driving, ie, when I drive the BMW, I wear a Porsche hat, etc.

I like looking confused!

I am not much of a hat fan...I have big ears...baseball caps just kinda accentuate the fact .

Why would you put a hat on when you're driving a car with the top down? Seems kind of errrrrr.......stupid? If you're worried about the sun, then why put the top down?

Unless you're driving for hours, I don't quite get it
