I agree, VW may be a very good thing. They've done well by the other brands they've absorbed over the years. Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti and of course Audi. The only thing to be possibly concerned about is the amount of engine sharing they do.. Hopefully we'll never see a narrow angle V6 in a Boxster.

A turbo diesel powered Boxster. Count me IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assuming it doesn't blow like the current engine.

Most of us would have voted against Prosche buying up VW. Most of us didn't believe there were WMD in Iraq either.
Vast education and experience doesn't necessarily equate to brains!!!!!!!

These are terribly expensive mistakes.

Personally, I believe Prosche should have remained independent and stuck to what it does best.......make sports cars. Not sedans, not SUVs or (what's next) mini-vans.

If you recall, this only happended because Porsche tried to buy VW, not the other way around.

Unintended consequences.

as far as the baby boxster / blue sport i'm on the fence. it looks like a jack-o-lantern from both the front and the back....
