New Ride

Hi guys, haven't logged on in awhile since I sold the Boxster about a year ago. I really miss it I finally replaced it with something new that works a bit better with kids - 2009 M3 Coupe. Figured I would share since I have been a member for awhile (please don't flame since this isn't an actual 'Boxster' related post).

So far I can't make too many comparisons because I just picked it up and I'm still in the break-in period. Generally, the M3 is more practical but less sporty. You can tell it is a heavier car and doesn't carve up the turns as well as the Boxster did. I do like all the electronics and comfort though. I'll post later, after I do a track day and let you know how it goes.

Attaching some pics.

The car looks great. Congrats. I'm surprised you say it feels less sporty than the Box. I know it probably feels heavier and maybe not as tossable, but with the incredible engine in the car, it must feel like a beast, no?

Please keep us posted on your feelings about the car after you've broken it in, and can push it a little harder. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on it because when I do decide to trade in my Boxster in a few years, it's either gonna be an M3 cab or 911 cab, as I would like the extra little seats in the back for my little boy.

Congrats, beautiful car. I bet it was a hard decision... you know giving up the boxster or giving up the kids. You are much stronger than i would have been. At least the Bmw helped ease the pain

I have a feeling you will be back!! at least when you get done paying for college!!

Nice car, but I wouldn't park it under a bridge in Minnesota.

I'd give an arm and a leg for that car! It would have to be an automatic though, obviously.

Congratulations! Must be a real beast with what, 400+ hp out of the engine?
