The tweeters are mounted together with the 4" midrange speakers on the same mounting plate. Not sure if you can replace just the tweets. I just did a complete rebuild of the entire sound system, and I replaced everything except the dash mounts. They have a lot of volume, and with a new HU, they actually sound pretty good, so I left them in rather than fight the odd arrangement that Porsche put in there.

JVC Head Unit
6.5" JL Subwoofer
(2) Infinity Reference 5.5's in doors
(2) 4" Alpine coaxials in custom box between the seats
Factorys in the dash
400 watt Interfire in front trunk to power sub
Disconnected crappy factory amp
JVC HU has more power than the amp

Hmm... thats my problem, the drivers side door, dash, and tweeter all blew out.... so everything is getting replaced.

I have...

Alpine 5.25s for the door,
Apline 4"s for the dash.
Alpine PDX4-150 Amp
Valor ITS 703W HU

Im just trying to figure out what to toss in the tweeter spot...

I had bought a pair of Power Acoustik NB1's to mount up, but decided I didn't need them. If you unsolder the factory tweets, they will probably fit on the mounting plate with a little mod. They're only 1" in diameter and come with a cup that you can mount anywhere if they won't fit the dash opening, then just pop the tweet in.

A very strong, reliable tweeter. Around $50/pair.

where are you placing the sub? the trunk nor frunk sounds like it could work, and there is precious little space inside this car...

It's in the footwell. The reason I used the JL was because it requires very little airspace, .15cf. The box is no bigger than a medium sized birdhouse. It's built to lay against the angle of the floor and fire outward into the cabin. There's still plenty of footroom too, as the box is only half the width of the footwell. Worked well for me, and the sound that little thing produces is amazing.
