I love how a car costing three times mine doesn't come with the same aluminum gauge rings...unless you pay extra for it.

As for the price, Its great and all but that kind of performance can be had with a regular Turbo and some serioous modifcations from shops who are dying for work right now. I guess the rear wheel drive thing is the only catch.

PL, but it would also have to go on a significant diet though. The GT2 is a few hundred pounds lighter than a 996TT.

Good point. The GT2 is the ultimate factory Porsche and you sure as heck pay up for it!

In 2003 only 90 GT2's made it to the USA. And owners in that crowd report that about 30 of those have been wrecked. So, it is a very limited production car. AKA the widow maker.

I've always said that if God were to give me the opportunity to choose my mode and method of death, it would be behind the wheel of a Porsche at a very high rate of speed.

I would die with a big-ass grin on my face. There are much worse ways to die, that's for sure.

If what you say is true, I guess I dream of owning a widow maker

Too bad they don't make drop-top GT2s, or at least with a sunroof.

Too much power and torque, Bob. They need the roof for structural integrity. Plus, these cars can and do see the track. Plus, things like a sunroof would add weight to the car....bad.

Everybody knows it won't make a slight difference if it's black or silver, yet there's people who would pay money to change it.

Same thing for those silly door sills, GT2 has the exact same door sill as mine but instead it says "GT2". There are people that would pay to upgrade to a set of aluminum or carbon fibre door sills.
