Well, I got a surprise yesterday. I walked into my garage a UPS had left a package. Hmmm, I'm not expecting anything.
Lo and behold.... 2 new drop links.
Must have been the "You guys suck" start to my last email to them that turned them around.
Still, buyer beware.

I forgot to post that when I opened the plastic bag that one of the drop links was is the boot was already torn. I couldn't believe it.
Seller said they are contacting their supplier as to why the boots are failing. Also said not to send it back and implied I'll get another one once they hear from the supplier.

We'll see...

Mike, do you think I should go ahead and buy Porsche drop links when I find the cash and just swap mine out with factory ones?

I have no desire to mess with DP through eBay for replacements when the new ones will probably crack as well.

If you need them now, probably. I'm going to wait and see what the manufacturer says.

Derb, I finally check one of my front drop links. Cracked.

I'm going to email them through eBay and ask for replacements. I don't know though if I want to put their replacements on the car just to see it happen again if the bushing material is the same as the ones I have on the car now. I'd rather buy OEM ones for a little more and not be concerned for a few years.

I'd love opinions though... put Deutchse parts replacements on if they send them to me, or go back to OEM?

Before I knew any better -- I picked up 4 water pumps.

One failed in less than 30 days.

I recalled all of them and replaced them with Porsche OEM.
Twice the price and all on my nickel -- but I don't want to
take any chances.

I contacted DPA, but they said they would replace the
defective units.

Why would I want more trash.

I bougt Hamburg technik tie rods from them, opened the pack and the grease was pouring out the side of the boot... Also when I put the inner/outter tie rods on the car they wouldnt tighten enough for tracking so had to take them off!!
Had to replace everything, got half the money back as they where going to send a replacement but who wants a replacement?
I contacted Hamburg Technic which was supposed to be a German company and they replied to me in broken Chinese/English
I also contacted ebay to say these suppliers are gangsters but they said they have such a positive feedback!!

Avoid this EBAY Supplier
