Handling changes with lowering springs?

What kind of handling changes have people found with lowering springs? I recently added some Gemballa springs (also added a front strut brace and adjustable rear track arms) which lowered the car about 1" front and rear and am curious as to what I can expect when it come autocross time? On the street I noticed there is quite a bit less understeer with stock rubber but this could be my driving style and street conditions and a hundred other variables.

BTW-The car has zero toe at all four corners but the camber has increased in the rear (one side is barely in spec and the other side is barely out of spec, not sure how this happens or how to correct this?).
