Question on the 3M Film?

How many of you guys have the 3M protective film on the front of your cars and if so what did you pay to have it installed? Is it a DIY?

Thanks,
-Steve

I have the complete front film and the rear pieces that are by the tires. I love it, you can hardly see it. I paid 450$ installed and from what I saw of the install, I would hate to DIY.

I paid about $500 for a pro to put the film on. Mine covers the complete front bumper, front of the fenders, 24 inches up the hood, a small piece behind the front tires and a large panel behind the rear tires, the inside of the wheel wells ( the painted lip), the headlight and fog light lenses and the windshield frame. Definitely not a do it yourself project.

This works out pretty good to protect against the sandblasting you get out here in Colorado. Now if I could only do the windshield as they get pitted like you wouldn't believe.
