DeMan Racing tour

NY, NJ & Ct folks, keep the date of Mar 21/22 open for a tour of DeMan racing in Blauvelt NY. I will post more info once Sat or Sun is decided upon but do give me an email if you are interested so I can have an accurate headcount. I am organizing this for my HVR PCA but am extending the invitation to the Boxster guys as DeMan prepares Boxsters for the track and I am sure will have some stories and insight on our cars. Go to: www.demanmotorsport.com to see what they are all about. This will be a rain or shine event and I hope we don't have another "global warming" episode that I drove up from Baltimore on Mon or we may have to reschedule.

Rick will provide a BBQ and show the latest in tech stuff and will field questions. Be sure to get back to me to get on the headcount list at: aklon30@yahoo.com if you are interested in attending. Let us hope it is a nice day and we can put some mileage on our P-cars and have some fun. If you would like to know more about DeMan Motorsports, go to:

Friend of mine bought (since sold) a prepped 914-6 out DeMan a few years back.
Car was a beast with a 3.6 motor and a blast to drive. Looks like they do good work so you folks will have fun, though I can't join you (a bit too far from Chi-Town).

That place is less than 1 hr. drive from me. Too bad I'll be out of town that weekend, or I would join you guys. Have fun.

DeMan Motorsport tour final update

Here are some detailed directions for those of you who are planning on attending the DeMan Motorsport tour and BBQ this coming Sat from 11am till 3pm.

Take exit #12 off NYSThruway. Go South two miles on rte. 303, Blauvelt. Keep in the right lane. Slow down at the Toyota dealership as the right turn down into Bradley Corp. Park is at the end of the dealerships property. Sign says, "No Trucks". DeMan is at the bottom of the hill, you can't miss it. Plenty of parking. HVR's Geoff Ring of Racetec Engineering will be on hand for tech issues and the facility will be open for your inspection. Wife and I will be in the Arctic Silver Boxster...you can't miss us. Let us know who is coming from this list. Wife and I will have to leave around 1pm for another Porsche related event but will be there around 11am.
