Leaking lh side drive shaft oil seal

My 2002 Boxster S has developed a slight leak to the drive shaft on a tiptronic gearbox. Has anyone out there any experience of doing this themselves. Apart from any issues regarding access and actually stripping it out are there any issues with actually extracting and replacing the oils seal in the housing?

My leak is on the right side

I am going to replace mine soon...I am waiting on a manual on cd to arrive. I should be able to disconnect at the half axle next to the hub. It is a tight spot to work on but with patience I should be able to replace it on a weekend.
