2004 Carrara C4S fit Boxster S?

Would this 3.6 fit a 2001 Boxster S?

The only Boxster swaps are from the Carrara and Carrara S, not sure iif the all-wheel drive affects it? Sorry I have to buy the motor today so i was just wondering if all 3.6 and 3.8 motors are interchangable.

It will fit because it's the same size physically, but making it work is another matter.

I just ended up buying the Carrera C4S 3.6 motor, guy said it is 345 hp but it lists 320, either way itll be a nice bump from the 250 hp I got it for 6K shipped so not a bad deal. also comes with 6 month warranty.

What is the mileage on it and who was the seller?

Sorry if you look at the second pic, weld near the bolt that was missing or something around there. I mean a good motor shipped for 6K, i dont mind that, plus if somethings wrong theyll warranty it.

EasyC how do you like the 3.6 motor? Leaps and bounds over the 3.2???
