Good Independent Mechanic in Detroit?

Hi Guys,

Anyone know of a good independent mechanic in the metro Detroit area. I'm in Brighton and work in Troy so I would be willing to travel pretty far for a good one. The thread above does not list a single one in Michigan, so that is why I posted here.

Thanks

I may be shooting from the hip, but there was a shop in Royal Oak that used to be owned by a friends family in school. I dont remember the name but they did work on alot of Porsche cars. The shop is off of Delemere ( between 14 mile and Normandy ). Hope it helps.

Don't come to the Toledo dealership. They don't answer the phone and the parts desk sees you as an inconvience. I plan to go to Anna Arbor when I need a new key.

I can recommend P.A.T. in Ann Arbor; there are usually a handful of Porsches there for service and they've always done good work on my Lotus Esprit and others.

P.A.T. website
