New guy.
Hey everyone.
First post and wanted to introduce myself.
I'm a regular on the 914 forums and finally replaced my daily driver with a '00 Boxster 2.7L (Black w/ gray int.) and was directed here by Jake Raby.
I'm 23, work for a local grocery chain doing network security & surveillance, and attend school at UTSA. Hobbies include guitar, computers, cars and trying to get into photography.
Looks like there are a bunch of very knowledgeable folks here!
Would be cool to maybe do some autocross with it at some point or just hang out with some other Boxster/Porsche owners. Are there any Texas clubs for Porsche enthusiasts? (I'm in San Antonio)
Look forward to learning a lot and at some point possibly contributing!
Thanks.
-Steve

Welcome Steve,
Enjoy driving one of the most fun cars you can own at any price.
You will find this website has a wide variety of young and old, daily drivers, modders, tuners, detailers, and performance drivers. It is the fun Boxster site and most of us get along pretty well. Feel free to chime in on most any subject.
For info on local meets, Auto-X, track days and performance driving schools, check out your local PCA here: http://www.longhornpca.org/

Welcome to the forum, a 2000 2.7L Boxster is a great car, but then I am a little biased....

You're gonna love the place and have a hard time stayin away.
Loved San Antone. We lived in LaGrange for a couple years and then Brenham for six. Both our daughters are native born Texicans and oldest is also a Baylor grad.
Randall Neighbor is in Houston and we have a couple from Austin, as well.
One guy from Austin, sorry, can't remember his name, has a thread on show and tell titled My two girls, or maybe just My girls.
His name is m2speed - here you go - My Girls

Welcome!
Did you keep the 914? Or was that your DD?
