				A couple of small issues

			1. When I start my car I periodically get a high pitch whistling from the AC unit before the blower kicks in. It only lasts a few seconds and fades away as the air flow gets up to full speed. Anyone have any ideas what it may be?
2. Squeaky creaky drivers side door. I'm not sure if it's the door seal or the latch. Seems like it's coming from the latch. Is there any kind of lubricant, maybe graphite that would be safe to apply to the latch to reduce the creaking?

			1. Debris in the blower cage (possibly foam insulation), or blower motor bearing whine. Most likely the latter since it stops in time. In the first case, disassmbly and cleaning. In the 2nd, blower motor replacement.
 2. Check that hinges are tight and aligned properly. Look for even gaps around the door. Not likely the latch, but if so, probably due to door misalignment.

I think I read in a post about a year ago about wrapping a little masking tape around the latch bracket to see if that reduced/eliminated the door creak. If it does, that confirms alignment as the problem. I did it on mine, and it worked.
Now I just have to get around to taking the tape off and aligning the latch... :ah:
