Hesitation/Spark Plugs Question

Hello

I have an 02 Boxster with 99km on it. Im starting to experience loss of power and hesitation throughout the band. I dont believe the spark plugs have been changed by the previous owner and it has not by me. So Im wondering if it is the sparkplugs that can do that if so am I able to change it myself. Also Ive heard there are no wires that need to be changed when changing the plugs. Let me know what the issue could be please.

Thanks
