Removing 'clear bra' film? Any advice?

My recently aquired Seal Grey '02 has clear protectant film up front. Anyway, it's got a few bumps and bruises from nearly 7 years of smacking bugs/etc. I'd like to remove it from the bumper (and leave it on the hood and fender lips because those still look great) I used the same plexiglass polish as for the rear window, and removed any haze and swirls from the hood section.

Any advice-suggestions-concerns with removal? I don't want to just start peeling without hearing someone else's experiences.
