Security system Problem

Does anyone have any experience with the trunks and gas access locking up ?
I am unable to remote lock my doors and the manual lifts for the trunks as well as the gas tank access are locked. Not sure if it is the key or if something else could be wrong? I would appreciate any input

So you got access in the car? what happen if you click on the Lock Button on the dash right beside the radio?
it should turn RED/OFF to indicate when the alarm system is on or off

Lock button does not light up. This has worked previously. Remote activates light on dash so signal is reaching sensor, but not activating locks ect.

this isn't really a long term fix, but if you need to put gas in your car there is a manual unlock in the fender where the passenger door meets it. Its accessible when you open the passenger door and is on level with the filler door, its like a ring that you pull out.

Maybe you already knew that though...

Good luck with you problem, maybe its a bad security system computer thingy under the drivers side seat ?

The gas door solenoid has been known to fail. Access isn't great, but doable by removing the rt. side inner fender.

But, before doing anything else, disconnect the battery for 5 or more minutes and see if the alarm/locking doesn't reset once the battery is re-connected.
