Question Laser Shield?

I just purchased an On Track Laser Shield to complement my radar detector, which I am very happy with. I couldn’t find any reviews on the item except sketchy reviews provided by the vendor. Have any of you guys used this product?

Tom,

I would be leery of this product. I seem to remember reading a review of this and it really didn’t do anything except provide a false sense of security. There are some good laser countermeasures out there, but I am under the impression that films and covers are not a good answer. This site has some great information that can help you in your fight against smoky:

I have a built-in Bel detector with the laser blocker and it works VERY well. It ran me about $1500 installed, but I think it was well worth it. Like with most everything else, you get what you pay for.

Wink

Thanks, Dr. Kill, a cheap $20 lesson, I'll send it to my ex-wife with glowing reviews.

BTW Tom,

Grill works great - thanks for asking. I am VERY happy with the Weber Summit we picked up. I have used it a few times per week - rain, sun, snow, whatever...
