987 Sport Steering Wheel Swap?

I've been looking at 987 S's and I really like the Sport Steering Wheel over the regular.

Does anybody know if it's possible to swap one - if so, how much approximately and can you by them from Porsche?

Thanks

Most people seem to like the sport wheel over the regular one.
I do not know specifically for the 987, but I am sure that a wheel swap is possible. Depending on whether or not you need a different airbag too, you are probably looking at close to $500 (w/o airbag) or $1000 (w/ airbag), maybe less if you look on eBay.

I would give Sunset Imports a call and talk to them, they will let you know what you need, and they have the best prices for Porsche parts.

Rick nailed that one Suncoast Porsche is great. http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=P&Category_Code=PO

The GT3 wheel is 695.00, GT3 RS wheel is 749.00 both require sport wheel airbag - call for pricing and info.....that always means bring a freight-car full of 20's....
I thought about the same, but after several thousand miles and a speed event in my 06, I have zero complaints on the stock wheel. It doesn't look real neat, but I don't know, it's just really comfortable and feels "right" at speed.

If you have the standard 987 wheel then you will need to replace the airbag as well as the wheel. The round airbag fits the "regular" sport steering wheel as well as the GT3 and GT3 RS wheels.
