On an interesting note, and a feeble attempt to avoid this thread from going to the "off topic" zone like the rest of the recent environmental posts, did you people know that Porsche was the FIRST guy to make a hybrid car?
I was trying to figure out how to spell Prius and did a Google search for "hybrid cars" and the WiKi shows that Ferdinand Porsche made the first gasoline-electric car in 1899. The link is here:
