Those GT3's are on my short list as they're available with the painted gray centers...which look awesome. I saw a pic on Ebay a while back that had a Boxster S with Aerokit and the GT3's. It looked amazing.

IMHO, there's not a lot of manufacturers out there producing wheels that look great and are lightweight. SSR, Kinesis and BBS are pretty much it as far as I'm concerned (with a slight nod to iForged but I've heard about them taking forever to deliver).

A lot of E46 M3 guys run the GT3's. You might want to check some of the BMW boards.

I also have a bmw and I know people who have run SSr GT3's. they are cheapest to purchase from the tirerack hands down however they are known to be incredibly weak rims.

Volk Racing has the TE37 made to fit the Porsche http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2/getWheelItem.cgi?maker=VOLK&model=070_TE37P

These are incredibly light wheels which are forged as well.

But I don't think the US importer, MacKin Industries, carries them. Cost about US$700 per piece.

The only SSR wheel I'm faimiliar with is the SSR Comp. ALLOT of guys Auto Cross them on BMW M3, Mini Copper, Acuras RSX, Miata and they are very light weight. But they are not ideal for daily driving in urban areas. Some of the worst dings I've seen were on this wheel.

are any of the Kinesis wheels in the sub $1000 range?
I think the Boxster look excellent in a two piece wheel with a polished lip.
