Brought the Boxster in for an oil change on Saturday to the independant mechanic that works on my Mercedes and he informed me that they use Elf 5W-40 rather than Mobil One : http://www.roadrunner-region-pca.org/Porsche_engine_oil_article.pdf Charged my $100 for the oil change. I was a little worried about not using Mobil One until I got home and did some searching around on the internet. I wasn't aware that there are other "Porsche Approved" oils other than Mobil One.
