My take on the GT3 RS (Boxster RS?)

I have updated the looks of my car as you can see. I know you might not like it but I definitely do. If you want feel free to express your thoughts.

i'd definitely give you credit for being pretty original. but personally it's not my cup of tea, but at least it's done tastefully and cleanly. nice job.

Thanks for the kind comment, I was expecting something more harsh.. I know it may not be many peoples favorite but it is different and not over the top. I can also easily make it stock again if needed..

Obviuously you've put this togather well. Personally not my cup of tea either. I would have gone black instead of orange.

Its loud!! you will get plenty of admirers I am sure

Good work

I like everything you have done, but I would say that it isn't my cup of tea either. I would have gone with a color other than orange. The silver and orange just doesn't work for me, but it still looks clean. I like the rims!

Looks like he has Toyo T1-R. Kudos to him for spending $ for nice set of rubber.

Hey man, it's all about what YOU like! By owning these cars we're too often subjected to other peoples opinions. I think for what you were going for it works. Yes, it's a little flashy, but then again, if you don't want to attract attention you shouldn't have a Boxster. Nice job!

I like it. If you have described it to me without the picture I wouldn't have thought the orange color would look good with the silver/gray but it seems to work. The combo is also not for me personally, but then Red Boxsters are not for everybody either. You are creative and original and that's great.

P.S. now you gotta do your factory rollbar in the orange color too.

Looks good. I would have gone with Silver/red, but that's just me.

I like it! Very original and you're not trying to make it into something its not.

Nice work.

Peter Gregg rolled a set of tangerine orange painted Fuchs forged alloys into the Brumos shop one afternoon to put on his brand new, beautiful, black turbo. This was, like 1977 or 78. All of us in the shop started gagging and holding our stomachs, to the point Prince Nitro nearly had an explosion. Rather than be fired or thoroughly ass-chewed, we all shut up......that is until the car was on the ground again. Most everyone was speechless. It may well be the best looking turbo I can remember.

Like someone else said, had you described what you were doing, I would have had a gag reflex, but it turned out quite nice.

Good job on original thought patterns. Too few around these days.

Very nice. Would you mind sharing where you got the graphics done?

That's bold baby! I would not go there, but it's all about what you like.

The side "boxster S" graphic does not look like it is placed quite "right" but at least it is the same on both sides. Do they make seat-belts in that color?!

Wow, I missed all the comments on here..

Yes I know alot does not like it or think its for them, but I had a vision and went for it. I do like the end result.. As far as the rollbar. Yes I want to paint that one as well, but when I went to paint I couldn't get it out. And leaving the car there for a week to have it painted was not an option. But I beileve that the rollbar will add that little extra.

I do have chrome lug nuts but I am wanting black ones (got the wrong one shipped to me)

As far as orange blending nice with silver.. I got a silver car just b/c i like a silver car. Although adding color to a silver car is extreamly difficult. I can't paint the wheels the body color since they were already silver.. Black has been done over and over again. So what can I do? I saw this picture and went for it. I had no idea how it would look on my car but if a GT3 RS is good enough, my Box is too..

I got the graphics from a local guy here in San Diego..

Porsche Stripes

I wanted the same as the GT3 RS but he has a lot of different options and you can write whatever you want..

It may look, but it is the real thing. I have several photoshoped versions but nothing beats the original.. It is just very bright.

I used RS Orange to stay true to porsche colors..

Like many here I'm not super keen on this, but it does grow on you a bit the more you look at it. I do commend you for being bold. It's hard to make a Boxster stand out with so many of them on the road. Your's definitely stands out now.

Taking a look at the pictures again I just now noticed the "S" on the rear badge also being painted orange. That's a very nice and subtle touch - good job!!!
