Any fabspeed exhaust/intake installs out there?

Looking at the maxflo exhaust, bypass pipes, cold air intake for 04 S

Anyone installed this brand or have a better recommendation? Thanks, Zach

I have the FabSpeed Maxflow exhaust, but not the latest re-design. It sounds fantastic, and definitely flows better than stock (especially considering it removes the secondary cats), however, it does have resonance between 2000 and 3000 RPM.

Hey Patrick,

thx for the note, the resonance was a concern for me, how would you consider it highway speeds (don't want to get killed by too much sound)

I'm sure the payoff over 3-4K and boost in torque makes up for it...

We had a couple customers purchase the Fabspeed headers and/or muffler through us, and have heard only good things back from them. Yes, there is some resonance at speed with the top up, but nothing horrible - just if you like to listen to classical music or talk on the phone, I suppose.

There are more economical options for increasing hp/tq through headers and exhaust - http://www.epiqautosport.com/pro_boxster_schnell_performance_dual_tip_exhaust.p hp - a near copy of the Dansk sport exhaust, plus headers also from Schnell - http://www.epiqautosport.com/pro_boxster_schnell_performance_header_set.php - they've agreed to back up the products for our customers, too, but it hasn't been needed thus far. All in, it's just slightly over 1k, so it's a BIG difference from Fabspeed in price for those interested in a more economical type of system upgrade.
