I bought my first one three years ago and it is guards red as well. Mine is a 1998 and only had 42,000kms on it when I got it. It now has 57,000kms. I am hoping to go up to an S model for next summer. I am a little biased but the red looks great. All the best with the new Boxster and all the best with your health.
