Boxster Year 2000 questions

thinking of getting a 2000 boxster to replace the 1997 i recently sold. I know about the rms thing... Is there some known problem on the year 2000 2.7 boxsters that might be problematic like a IMS or porousity problem or something to worry about.

My 2000 base boxster had 2 previous owners and 43K on it when I bought it two years abo. It now has over 70K on it and is running like a champ. The only issues I have had that did not relate to mods I did to the car were replacement of brake pads and rotors, and the MAF (and lots of tires). I am very happy with its reliability and performance. In my book, 2000 was a very good year.....

same story for my 2000... I got it in 2001 with 16k on it.. now have about 45k on the clock..

just did the rotors & pads, and a MAF clean-up last year.. and uh, tires..

the only thing I need now is to replace the back window...
