Hey guys speaking of side skirts would a 996's skirts fit on our 986's?
I'm also looking at a 99-01 GT3/Aerokit Front Bumper on 6speed and was wondering if it would fit my 97 box since I can pick it up locally.
Thanks and I hope this isn't considered a jack on the thread as i love the pics pf that GT3 kit on the box in the bushes.

Are you certain? I could've sworn that I saw a post before saying that the 996 skirts will not fit on the Boxster because the wheelbase for the cars are different (the 996 wheelbase is shorter), and therefore, the skirts are shorter in length than the Boxster skirts.

I looked at the parts manuals and the 996 side skirts are part #
996 559 983 02 (L)
996 559 984 02 (R)
The 986 side skirts are
986 559 983 02 (L)
986 559 984 02 (R)
the manual didn't give dimensions, so I change my answer from "Yes" to "Maybe" on the side skirts.
But the front bumper will definitely fit.

Yeah, the front bumper will fit. The skirts won't.

I love those pics as well. Try looking through an issue of DUB magazine. They have a column devoted to wrecked exotics (MB, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari & Lambo's) in every issue

Wheels are such a subjective thing. Why not post pictures of a couple of styles you like, and ask opinions?

I was talking about this question. They do fit on the car fine. I haven't tried driving around yet or steering full lock to full lock to see if i get any rubbing though...
Pics will come soon.
